What is Site Council?

A site council is created to provide input for the creation of curricular and instructional strategies/designs that meet the unique learning needs of the students served at each school. Site Councils have proven a powerful and effective means for providing decentralized, public input and participation in the management of public schools.

Who are the members?

  • Three parents of enrolled students.
  • Three teachers.
  • One noncertified employee.
  • Two community members.
  • And the school Principal.
